Let me get this right:
Power week = compound movements, x amount of sets (more than the usual 1 set I did with HIT) and then on the last set go to failure. For some of the movements there are two failure sets. Are these drop sets?
Intensity week = Don't worry about going to failure, just focus on form and contraction. However, add in static contractions, drop sets, all the bag of Menzter goodies, but the focus isn't necessarily failure, just intensity? Rather, more a drawn out intensity versus the shorter duration but more intense burst with Mentzer's failure principle?
If it were 10 years ago, I'd probably do that MMA stuff. Now all I want to do is stay in shape and have fun. There's some young mang in our class, all ripped and cut, in incredible shape, who go to those things. Heck with that ish.
I'll have to figure out something for my back; perhaps only do a little at first. Last time I did barebell shrugs I barely could walk for a week (probably because I was bouncing too much and not standing still). Btw, because you are doing so many sets, VOLUME OWNS YOU, bahahaha
Btw, I heard you slipped on a banana peel over by the juice bar, causing you to throw your after-workout fruity drink all over some fat chic who ended up stumbling backwards and sitting on some poor smucks face who was sitting on the flat bench, causing his jaw to explode under a fat heaping mess of human butter, dat true?
Ill get it to you soon though, I promise
sox
